I find the blacklisting part of her career kinda interesting. I'm not sure exactly how much it affected her career and opportunities. My guess is that the blacklisting went into effect after her TV role on the Virginian. Had it started before then I think it's unlikely she would have gotten that TV role. I think the blacklisting ended once Nixon resigned. Not long after this she appeared on Sesame Street for about 7 years. So no blacklisting affected her for TV. After leaving that show she wins an Oscar. So basically it doesn't seem like that blacklisting hampered her career and visibility too much. If anyone hampered her career it seemed to have been her husband Jack Nitzsche. According to Buffy he wouldn't allow her to do much of anything during their years together. She said that she was never able to capitalize on that Oscar win because of Jack.

I've shared this on some other videos. Some of you might find it interesting. I went on Twitter looking for tweets related to the Buffy biography written by Andrea Warner. I came across these tweets from someone from back in January 2023. Pt1 "I read Andrea Warner's bio on Buffy, and I had some questions regarding her adoption. Why didn’t Warner explore more of Buffy’s biological relations on Piapot? How did her adopted parents happen to be in southern Sask in the 40s and come to adopt Buffy from a Cree family"? Jan 5, 2023 --------------- pt2 "Didn’t Buffy ask questions about her biological parents and the exact location where her adopted parents adopted her? Has Buffy explored the possibility of DNA tests to find her biological relatives on the Piapot Rez or Saskatchewan"?

Well, I do not know what her blood line is. She could be Italian. I guess that idea goes along with other Italians pretending to act as natives in early westerns. And I do not care if she is from Mars. Anybody with that much talent as a musician and actor deserves to be famous. I saw her in concert maybe 3 times, talked to her once and told her how much I loved her music. I had about 5 or 6 of her albums from the 60s. I had many Ian & Sylvia albums as well. Good music from that era will live long after the artists are gone.
